Taking classes when traveling is something I try to do whenever possible.  In January or 2016 my husband and I traveled to Istanbul Turkey for ten days.  This trip was amazing and feel so privileged to visit this amazing city. While there i spent two days with Mehmet Giric and internationally know felter.  The first day, I made a hat and the second day was spent marbling paper.  Later in the week, I took another marbling class at Les Arts Turc.  The marbled papers make great end papers for the books I make.

In January of 2017 we took a Southern Carribean Cruise.  While we were in Barbados I spent the day with Henderson Reece and made two batik pieces.
